Silver Spur Outfitters & Lodge offers regular combination elk, deer and bear hunts running from October 12th to November 11th. These hunts are a true test of your wilderness skills, and we want you to be ready to enjoy the Idaho backcountry.
What to Know
These hunting trips require a 5 to 12-mile horseback ride to camp where you’ll be staying. Our camp is set up with tents, tables, chairs, and a wood stove with complete kitchen and a propane stove. Our tents have cots with foam pads and a wood stove for heat.
You will be accompanied by hunting guides and a camp cook, so when you go on the long-day hunting excursions, you can come back to a home cooked meal that will warm you up.
For the experienced:
We also have deluxe drop camps for the experienced. We help you pack up and send you off. You have all the equipment you need when you get there, but you will pack up your game. There are radio communications at the camp for emergencies.
